AMAZON LOCKERS COMES TO BELLE VALE

Shoppers will now be able to collect their Amazon parcels from Belle Vale Shopping Centre with the new Amazon lockers on the mall. The click and collect service allows customers to conveniently pick up their purchases while out shopping.

The Amazon self-service lockers allow Amazon customers to receive or return their Amazon.co.uk parcels. The lockers have been installed on Tuesday 20th November by the lift and stairs, in the main mall area.

Paul Wilson, Centre Manager commented, “We are very excited about the new Amazon lockers as this will make our shoppers lives a little more hassle-free. Shoppers can now collect their parcels on their daily shopping trip or when passing by, especially as we conveniently offer free parking and great transport links at the centre. ”

Local residents need not worry about missing a delivery when they are working or out of their house. Amazon customers will be able to select Belle Vale Shopping Centre as a locker location during checkout as they would with a home address. Once the customer’s parcel is delivered to the Amazon locker, they will receive an email notification with a unique pickup code and barcode. Customers enter their pickup code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner on the locker to activate the pickup process and retrieve their package.

Customers have three business days to collect their package, after which time it is returned for a full refund from Amazon.

The lockers can be accessed during Centre opening hours which are 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 10:30am – 4:30pm on Sunday and Bank Holidays. The Centre will be closed on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
